Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
At ClearRow, we understand that bank statements contain highly sensitive financial information. Protecting your privacy is our foundational principle. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding data collection, usage, and protection.
1. Information We Collect
When you use our Service, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Email address and password for authentication (managed securely via Supabase).
- Financial Documents: PDF bank statements uploaded for parsing.
- Billing Data: Processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers.
2. How We Handle Your Bank Statements
We treat your documents with the strictest confidentiality:
- Ephemeral Processing: Uploaded PDFs are processed in memory to extract structured data. We do not persistently store your raw PDF files unless you explicitly opt-in for troubleshooting.
- Mathematical Verification: The data extracted is mathematically verified and stored securely in our database solely for the purpose of presenting it to you in your dashboard and allowing you to export it.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data to third parties. We only share information with trusted infrastructure partners essential to operating our service (e.g., AWS, Vercel, Supabase, Stripe). These partners are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and industry-standard compliance certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
4. Data Deletion
You own your data. You can delete your account and all associated parsed statement data at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all related records are permanently purged from our primary databases within 30 days.
