Fields ClearRow extracts
Transaction and posting dates, description, transaction type, charge, payment or credit, currency, statement period, previous balance, statement balance and available summary totals.
Financial verification
When the source provides enough information, ClearRow verifies previous balance plus charges, fees and interest minus payments and credits against the statement balance. Missing source fields are never invented.
Private by design
The PDF is parsed in memory, normalized and discarded. Raw statements are not retained and only a masked card suffix is displayed or stored.
Frequently asked questions
Does it support every issuer?
Detection is generic-first and based on statement structure, not issuer branding. Native digital PDFs work best.
What if verification is unavailable?
Transactions can still be exported, but ClearRow clearly marks verification as unavailable when source totals are insufficient.
Can I use a bank statement here?
ClearRow detects the mismatch and directs you to the Bank Statements workflow.
